Cattle Transporter Misunderstanding Leads to Assault in Maharashtra

In the early hours of Friday, a man identified as Mohammad Hazek was assaulted in Maharashtra's Beed city by five individuals, according to a statement from local police.
The incident took place around 12:15 am when Hazek photographed an injured cow that had been hit by a four-wheeler, sending the image to his fiancée. On his way home, he was attacked by five men who accused him of being a cattle transporter.
Based on Hazek's complaint, police have arrested four suspects—Mandar Deshpande, Omkar Lande, Anil Ghodke, and Rohit Lolge. They face charges under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for wrongful restraint, voluntarily causing hurt, and other related offenses.
