The high court on Friday refused bail to Seema Rani Khakha, wife of suspended Delhi officer Premoday Khakha, who allegedly raped a minor and impregnated her multiple times.
Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma dismissed the bail plea, emphasizing that the case 'strikes at the root of trust between two families' and noted the potential for witness tampering.
Premoday Khakha faces accusations of repeatedly raping a minor between November 2020 and January 2021. Both he and his wife, accused of helping terminate the girl's pregnancy, are in judicial custody since August 2023.
