Zelenskiy Urges Allies to Overlook Moscow's 'Red Lines'

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy called on military allies to disregard Moscow's 'red lines' and supply Kyiv with long-range weapons capable of striking Russian territory. He made this appeal during the Ramstein group meeting of 50 nations in Germany, arguing that such measures would pressure Russia towards peace.

President Volodymyr Zelenskiy of Ukraine urged military allies on Friday to ignore Moscow's 'red lines' and grant Kyiv access to long-range weapons that could target Russian territory.

'We need to have these long-range capabilities not only on the territory of Ukraine but also on Russian soil, so that Russia is motivated to seek peace,' Zelenskiy declared during a meeting of the Ramstein group, comprising some 50 nations that supply arms to Ukraine.

This marked Zelenskiy's first participation in the gathering of defense ministers at the U.S. air base in Ramstein, western Germany.
