The Uttarakhand High Court has mandated the Central government to release records pertaining to the empanelment of IFS officer Sanjiv Chaturvedi for the position of joint secretary.
Chaturvedi, who requested these records under the RTI Act, represented himself in court, underscoring his stellar performance and previous harassment.
This ruling comes after the Central Administrative Tribunal had initially denied his petition on confidentiality grounds, a decision now overturned by the High Court.
