In a dramatic turn of events at Badlapur railway station in Thane, a man identified as Vikas Nana Pagare, 25, fired shots at two individuals, injuring one, in an incident of professional rivalry. The violent episode unfolded on a crowded platform around 6 pm, shocking commuters and causing widespread alarm.

The entire incident was caught on camera and quickly spread across social media. According to the Government Railway Police (GRP), the shooter attempted to flee by running towards the railway tracks but was apprehended by police officers with the assistance of some brave commuters.

The injured man, Shankar Sansare, is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital. Preliminary investigations suggest the shooting was linked to a feud over a TV cable business.
