The Indian contingent continued its medal-winning spree, finishing with a gold-silver finish in the 10m air rifle mixed team event at the 2nd World Deaf Shooting Championship held in Hanover, Germany, on Tuesday. Mahit Sandhu and Dhanush Srikanth secured gold, while Natasha Joshi and Mohammed Murtaza Vania clinched silver.

Pranjali Dhumal and Abhinav Deshwal added to the medal tally with a silver in the 10m air pistol event, bringing India's total to 12 medals, including three gold, six silver, and three bronze, by the end of day three. Dhanush and Mahit set a deaf-shooting world record in qualification with a score of 628.8, while Natasha and Murtaza Vania also hit a world record score of 622.1. In the final, Dhanush and Mahit comfortably defeated their compatriots 17-5.

In another highlight, Pranjali and Abhinav topped the qualifications with a Deaf World Championship record score of 565 but lost to the Ukrainian pair Oleksii Lazebnyk and Inna Afonchenko 7-17 in the finals.
