Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Wednesday that Israeli troops would remain stationed at the border area between southern Gaza and Egypt. He emphasized that the military presence would continue until there is a firm guarantee that the border cannot be exploited by the Islamist group Hamas.
Netanyahu made these comments during a news conference held in Jerusalem, highlighting the government's commitment to maintaining security and preventing Hamas from using the area as a supply line.
"Until that happens, we're there," Netanyahu said, signifying Israel's steadfast stance on the issue.
