Tragic Death of Palestinian Teen Sparks Controversy in Jenin

A 16-year-old Palestinian girl was fatally shot by an Israeli sniper while looking out her window in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, her father reported.

The Israeli military is investigating the death of Lujain Osama Musleh, who was killed Tuesday during a large-scale operation involving hundreds of soldiers and armored vehicles. According to her father, Musleh was shot in the forehead while she was simply looking out the window.

The operation, described as the most severe in recent months, has resulted in over 30 Palestinian deaths, widespread damage, and significant shortages of food and water in Jenin. The Israeli military claims the mission aims to prevent attacks on Israeli civilians by militant groups.
