Madrasa Teacher Arrested for Alleged Sexual Abuse of Young Student

A Madrasa teacher named Saqib from Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh was arrested for allegedly sodomizing a 13-year-old student. The boy's father lodged a complaint after the boy disclosed the abuse. The teacher had threatened the boy to keep silent, but the boy eventually reported the incident.

A Madrasa teacher was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly sodomizing a 13-year-old student, following a complaint lodged by the boy's father, according to police reports.

The suspect, identified as Saqib from Bijnor district in Uttar Pradesh, reportedly committed multiple sexual offenses, said Assistant Commissioner of Police (Ankur Vihar) Bhaskar Verma.

Authorities arrested Saqib after the student, who had been residing at the Madrasa for several months, disclosed the traumatic ordeals to his father. The teacher allegedly coerced the boy to sleep in his room and threatened him with violence if he exposed the abuse, Verma added.
