Father Arrested for Alleged Murder of Son in Maharashtra's Latur

A man in Latur, Maharashtra, was arrested on Monday for allegedly murdering his 29-year-old son, police reported.
The incident occurred in Jadhala, Chakur tehsil, on August 29. Initially registered as an accidental death, further investigation revealed it was a case of murder, according to officials.
Shivaji Vishwanath Sangangire, 53, grew angry when his son Krishna created a disturbance in the kitchen while he was praying. An altercation ensued, and Shivaji struck Krishna with a stick, causing him to collapse. Shivaji then strangled his son while his wife was elsewhere in the house, and his other son sought medical help. Following a post-mortem, Shivaji was arrested for murder, Kingaon police confirmed.
