Tragic Roadside Accident: Daily Wager and Car Passenger Killed

A daily wager was killed and a passenger succumbed to injuries after a speeding car lost control in a tragic road accident. The event occurred while the vehicle was traveling from Ghaziabad to Meerut, and police are currently on the hunt for the fleeing driver.

A tragic road accident claimed the life of a daily wager who was sleeping on the roadside and a car passenger after the speeding vehicle lost control, according to police reports on Sunday.

The car, en route from Ghaziabad to Meerut, collided with a tree trunk before veering off course and running over the labourer, identified as Ved Prakash (50). The accident occurred during the night between Saturday and Sunday, as confirmed by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Traffic Police Piyush Kumar Singh.

Three car occupants fled the scene while the fourth, Satya Narayan (42), suffered severe injuries and later died at the hospital. The police are actively pursuing the driver, who remains at large.
