Four Men Killed in Separate Traffic Accidents in Meerut

Four men lost their lives in two separate road accidents in Meerut on Sunday. Both incidents were due to traffic rule violations. In one case, a U-turn led to a scooter-bus collision. In another, a parked truck was rammed by another truck. Police are investigating the cases.

Four men were killed in separate road accidents on Sunday in Meerut, attributed to traffic rule violations, according to the police.

In one unfortunate incident, Sushil Kumar (45) and Chander (46) died instantly when their scooter collided head-on with a bus while attempting a U-turn on New Link Road near the Meerut intersection. The pillion rider was not wearing a helmet, police confirmed.

Additionally, two men died on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway when a truck rammed into a parked truck. The parked truck's driver, Sunil Kumar (40), died immediately, while the other driver, Sachin (29), succumbed to injuries at the hospital. The bus has been seized, but the driver fled the scene, said Additional Deputy Commissioner Piyush Kumar Singh.
