A pivotal joint intelligence and security meeting was convened at Mamun Cantonment last Friday to bolster regional safety measures and foster inter-agency cooperation, an official statement revealed on Saturday.

Chaired by Lt Gen Rajan Sharawat, GOC 9 Corps, and attended by key officials including Major General Vikram Sharma, the meeting gathered representatives from the army, police, Border Security Force, and intelligence agencies.

The two-hour session prioritized reviewing current security protocols, addressing recent challenges, and formulating effective strategies for future actions.
