Kedar alias Manya Kinjo Naitam, a high-profile Naxalite, surrendered to Gadchiroli police on Friday, according to an official statement. He has been implicated in no less than 18 encounters within the region and faces 34 charges, encompassing two arson cases and eight murders, the official elaborated.
'Naitam joined the Naxalite movement in 2007 and played a significant role as a member of Tipadag Salam. He was actively involved in the West Sub Zonal Bureau of the banned CPI (Maoist) operating in Dhanora,' the official disclosed.
