Philippines and Vietnam to Strengthen Defence Collaboration
The Philippines and Vietnam have agreed to enhance their defence and military collaboration, according to statements made during Vietnamese Defence Minister Phan Van Giang's visit to Manila. Both countries aim to strengthen their security ties amidst regional tensions.

The Philippines' defense minister announced on Friday an agreement with his Vietnamese counterpart to advance their defense and military collaboration.
Gilberto Teodoro made the remarks while Vietnamese Defense Minister Phan Van Giang was on an official visit to Manila. During the visit, Giang also held talks with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
This move is seen as a step to bolster security ties in response to increasing regional tensions.
