Ex-Driver Arrested for Rs 50 Lakh Jewellery Theft in Gurugram

Police have arrested a former driver, Sandeep, for allegedly stealing jewellery worth Rs 50 lakh from a shop in Gurugram owned by his previous employer.
Sandeep, a 26-year-old resident of Rasulpur village in Palwal, was apprehended in Delhi's Rajouri Garden area. The police recovered the stolen jewellery, a motorcycle, and a hammer used in the crime from his possession.
The accused reportedly committed the crime to pay off a Rs 10 lakh debt, incurred due to his mother's cancer treatment, according to the police spokesperson.
