Escalating Tensions: Israeli Forces Kill Five Militants in Tulkarm Mosque
Israeli troops killed five Palestinian militants hiding inside a mosque in Tulkarm, West Bank. The extensive operation involved air and ground units and witnessed significant escalations in the region. The clashes also led to a network outage in Jawwal and multiple casualties, intensifying the longstanding Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Israeli troops have killed five Palestinian militants who were hiding inside a mosque in the West Bank city of Tulkarm. This raid is one of the largest assaults in the Israeli-occupied territory in months, with hundreds of Israeli troops backed by helicopters, drones, and armored personnel carriers.
During the raid, there was a network outage at Jawwal, a main telecommunications provider in Gaza and the West Bank. Palestinian health authorities reported at least 12 Palestinians killed. The Israeli military stated that Muhhamad Jabber, a key militant leader, was among those killed.
Amnesty International condemned the operation, citing Israel's obligation to protect civilian infrastructure. Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz referred to the operation as part of a larger war against militants supported by Iran.
