Three people, including a 16-year-old Palestinian girl, were reportedly killed by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank on Tuesday. According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, this occurred as Israeli troops continued their major operation in the cities of Jenin and Tulkarm for a seventh consecutive day.
The girl, identified as Lujain Osama Musleh, lost her life in the town of Kafr Dan, near Jenin, where Israeli troops had been active and demolished a house on Tuesday. The Israeli military has not provided immediate details on the incident but is investigating the report.
Two other Palestinians were killed in Tulkarm, as reported by the Palestinian health ministry. Armed factions Hamas and Islamic Jihad stated their fighters engaged in gunfire exchanges with Israeli forces in both Jenin and Tulkarm, areas that have witnessed repeated confrontations in recent months.
