Justice Inder Singh Uboweja Sworn in as Pramukh Lokayukta of Chhattisgarh

Former Chhattisgarh High Court judge Inder Singh Uboweja has taken the oath as the Pramukh Lokayukta of the state. The ceremony was conducted by Governor Ramen Deka at Raj Bhawan on Tuesday afternoon, a government official confirmed.

Justice (Retd) Uboweja follows in the footsteps of Justice (Retd) T P Sharma, who held the position since October 27, 2018. Uboweja's judicial career includes a tenure at the Chhattisgarh High Court from January 27, 2014, to May 31, 2016.

The swearing-in ceremony was attended by prominent officials and representatives, including Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, state assembly Speaker Raman Singh, and Raipur MP Brijmohan Agarwal, among others.
