Madhya Pradesh police have enforced a lookout circular to prevent the main accused in the Chhatarpur stone-pelting incident from fleeing the country, an official confirmed on Sunday.

The accused, Shahzad Ali, saw his lavish home razed on Thursday following the violent protest against alleged anti-Islam remarks by Hindu seer Ramgiri Maharaj, which led to multiple police injuries and vehicle damages.

Authorities have registered cases against 46 named and 150 unidentified individuals. Reactions to the incident include strong condemnation of the government's methods, termed as 'bulldozer justice', by political figures and activists.
