The alleged crime came to light when the girl informed her mother, a laborer, about the assault which took place on Friday while she was grazing goats. The mother immediately lodged a police complaint, leading to the arrest of the accused.

According to law enforcement, the perpetrator lured the minor into his house under false pretenses before committing the heinous act.
