Actor Nagarjuna's N-Convention Centre Demolished Over Alleged Encroachment

The N-Convention centre in Madhapur, owned by actor Nagarjuna, was demolished by authorities for alleged construction on encroached land. Nagarjuna claimed the demolition was based on misinformation and sought a stay from Telangana High Court, which was granted. The controversy revolves around unauthorized structures in the Full Tank Level/ Buffer zones of Tammidikunta lake.

The N-Convention centre in Madhapur, co-owned by Telugu superstar Nagarjuna, was demolished by government authorities on Saturday. Officials claim it was built on encroached land within the Full Tank Level of Tammidikunta lake.

Actor Nagarjuna, displeased with the sudden demolition, sought and received an interim stay from the Telangana High Court. In his response on the social media platform 'X', Nagarjuna asserted that the demolition was carried out wrongfully based on misinformation.

Authorities from various departments, including the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) and the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), removed several unauthorized structures, including N-Convention. The contentious center, according to officials, had neither the required permissions nor compliance with legal norms.
