Man Sentenced to 20 Years for Abducting and Raping Minor in Bundi
A POCSO court in Bundi has sentenced Shetan Meena to 20 years imprisonment for abducting and raping a 17-year-old girl in 2022. Despite marrying the survivor when she became an adult, the court held Shetan guilty and fined him Rs 4 lakh for the survivor’s livelihood while he's in jail.

A POCSO court in Bundi on Friday convicted a man for raping a minor despite marrying her when she reached adulthood.
The court sentenced Shetan Meena, a 24-year-old resident of Bundi, to 20 years imprisonment for the crime committed in June 2022. He was also fined Rs 80,000 and ordered to pay Rs 4 lakh to the survivor for her livelihood during his imprisonment.
The court's decision came after the abduction and repeated rape of a 17-year-old girl. The case was brought to light when the survivor's father reported her missing. Police arrested Shetan after rescuing the girl a month later, which eventually led to his conviction and sentencing.
