In a disturbing incident of suspected honour killing, two brothers allegedly killed their 35-year-old sister in Delhi, suspecting her of having multiple affairs, officials revealed on Thursday.
Authorities utilized CCTV footage to identify and arrest the accused, Abdullah and Arib, confirmed M Harsha Vardhan, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central). He noted the absence of sexual assault signs.
Preliminary investigations suggest the woman was suffocated to death. The postmortem will determine the exact cause. Her body was discovered in her Hauz Qazi residence early Thursday morning following a police tip-off around 4:30 am.
