Surat's VR Mall was evacuated on Monday after receiving a bomb threat via email, which police later confirmed was a hoax.

Surat Police Commissioner Anupam Singh Gehlot stated that searches at the mall, located on Dumas Road, turned up nothing suspicious.

This incident, the second in four months, has prompted an ongoing investigation to identify the sender.
