Arrests Made Over Fraudulent Practices in Bihar Police Recruitment Exam
Three candidates were arrested in Bihar for alleged malpractices during the state police constable recruitment exam. Additionally, cases were registered against five more candidates. The Central Selection Board of Constables is conducting exams for 21,391 constable positions, involving around 17.87 lakh candidates, and the exams will run until August 28.

Three candidates were arrested in Bihar on Sunday over alleged malpractices during the state police constable recruitment exam, according to an official statement.
Cases have also been registered against five additional candidates for engaging in fraudulent practices. In a separate incident, one candidate was expelled from a centre in West Champaran due to document discrepancies.
The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) is conducting the recruitment exam for 21,391 constable positions in Bihar Police and other units. The exam commenced on August 7 and will continue until August 28, with a total of 17.87 lakh candidates expected to participate.
