Lt Gen M V Suchindra Kumar, Northern Army Commander, conducted a review of the security situation and counter-terror grid in South Kashmir on Saturday.
According to Northern Command's post on X, Lt Gen Kumar was accompanied by the General Officer Commanding of Chinar Corps during his visit. He was briefed on the soldier-citizen connect and the operational preparedness of the force.
During his visit, Kumar praised the troops for maintaining operational momentum and urged all ranks to continue refining tactics in response to emerging threats. He also met with Special Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Nalin Prabhat, to convey his best wishes and discuss ways to enhance synergy and security measures between the forces.
