Jharkhand Police to Host Women Officers Conference on 'Service, Security, and Respect'

Jharkhand Police will host a two-day conference for women officers next week, according to a senior official's announcement on Friday.
A detailed memorandum outlining the key issues discussed will be presented to Chief Minister Hemant Soren, added the official.
The event, themed 'Women Police-Service, Security and Respect', is scheduled for August 23-24 and will cover various topics, including the officers' experiences and challenges, informed Jharkhand DGP Anurag Gupta.
More than 200 officers from across the state, including constables, assistant inspectors, sub-inspectors, and deputy superintendents, are expected to participate.
The chief minister himself is also expected to attend the event scheduled to take place in Ranchi, confirmed another police officer.
