Protests Erupt in Delhi Against Atrocities on Bangladesh Minorities

BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj and JNU VC Santishree D Pandit participated in a march in Delhi protesting violence against minorities in Bangladesh. Organized by RSS-linked Nari Shakti Forum, it saw hundreds of women demanding an end to attacks on Hindus following the resignation of Sheikh Hasina.

BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj and JNU VC Santishree D Pandit joined a demonstration in Delhi on Friday to protest the alleged atrocities against minorities in Bangladesh.

The event, organized by RSS-linked Nari Shakti Forum, saw hundreds of women marching from Mandi House to Jantar Mantar, raising their voices against the violence targeting Hindu minorities. Suspended BJP leader Nupur Sharma was also present at the rally.

Protesters wielded religious flags and placards, urgently calling for an end to the violence. Some participants had their mouths covered with black bands, symbolizing the injustice faced by the minorities. The Bangladesh National Hindu Grand Alliance, a non-political Hindu religious group, reported increased attacks in 278 locations across 48 districts since the resignation of Sheikh Hasina and her government's fall.
