Sahara Rahanuma, a newsroom editor at Gazi TV, had been missing after attending work. Her body was retrieved by pedestrians and taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Inspector Bachchu Mia from the Dhaka Medical College Hospital police confirmed the recovery.
Questions arose when Sarah had posted enigmatic messages on Facebook prior to her death, tagging a friend named Fahim Faysal and expressing sentiments of despair.
