Rahman emphasized the need for Bangladesh to maintain balanced relationships with global powers like the US and China, besides regional neighbors such as Pakistan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. He refuted the notion that Jamaat-e-Islami is anti-India, arguing that the party seeks to prioritize Bangladesh's interests without negative portrayals from external actors.
