Constable Arrested for Alleged Kidnap and Murder Plot
A constable named Aziz Gautam was arrested for allegedly threatening to kidnap and kill a family member unless paid Rs 1 crore. The plot targeted 21-year-old Anuj Gautam, motivated by a lucrative land deal involving the victim's father. Three accomplices were also apprehended earlier.

Police in Jaint have apprehended a constable, Aziz Gautam, for allegedly threatening to kidnap and murder a family member unless paid Rs 1 crore, authorities reported Sunday.
The accused, posted at the district prison, allegedly targeted 21-year-old Anuj Gautam on August 5. According to Jaint SHO Ashwani Kumar, Aziz planned the crime after learning that Anuj's father, Ramkumar Gautam, was set to receive over Rs 2 crore from a land deal.
Aziz was taken into custody near his village with a country-made pistol and cartridges. Additionally, three of his accomplices were previously arrested in Chhatapur, Madhya Pradesh.
