In a coordinated effort, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the National Investigation Agency (NIA), and Interpol have successfully facilitated the extradition of Babbar Khalistan International terrorist Tarsem Singh. Singh, who was under an Interpol Red Notice, is accused of multiple terror activities, including a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) attack on the Punjab Police Intelligence Headquarters in Mohali.

The high-profile terrorist was apprehended by a security mission in Abu Dhabi and brought back to Delhi, where he was arrested early Friday. Singh has been a key orchestrator in funding terror activities linked to the Babbar Khalistan International (BKI) and maintaining crucial terror networks in the UAE.

Singh's arrest is a significant milestone for Indian authorities in their ongoing efforts to dismantle terror operatives working under the guise of organizations like the Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF), BKI, and the International Sikh Youth Federation (ISYF). These groups have been involved in smuggling arms and drugs, extortions, and using illegal means for funding their activities.
