Ukraine's military intelligence agency confirmed on Wednesday that its forces had conducted a raid on the Russian-controlled Tendra Spit in the northwest of the Black Sea, claiming they damaged equipment, fortifications, and inflicted casualties.

The agency released video evidence displaying vessels transporting well-equipped soldiers who landed on the shoreline. They reported the destruction of a Russian electronic warfare system and armoured vehicles while assessing Russian personnel losses.

On Tuesday, Russian-installed authorities alleged that Ukrainian saboteurs had attempted to land on the spit with high-speed vessels. According to their account, three boats and their crews were destroyed, but Ukraine's HUR military intelligence service maintained that its forces sustained no casualties.

The Tendra Spit lies off Kherson's southern coast, critical for Ukraine's access to the Black Sea. Previous clashes in February had seen conflicting reports of casualties on both sides.
