Sharing a post on X, Rahul Gandhi lauded the Kalpetta Range Forest Officers and other rescue personnel for their dedicated efforts in risky operations amid heavy rainfall.

The rescue operations in Wayanad have intensified with 1,300 personnel deployed, as the death toll climbs to 219. Kerala plans to establish a new township to rehabilitate displaced victims.
