A terrorist hideout was unearthed in a forest area in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, leading to the recovery of arms and ammunition, security officials reported Thursday.
The discovery was part of an ongoing joint cordon and search operation conducted by the police, Rashtriya Rifles, and CRPF at Gulabgarh in the Dharamsal area of Kalakote.
The operation commenced late Wednesday night after receiving intelligence about suspicious movement. Recovered from the hideout were an AK assault rifle, a magazine, and several rounds of ammunition.
