Massive Methamphetamine Seizure in Mizoram

Methamphetamine tablets worth Rs 61.9 crore were seized by Assam Rifles in Mizoram's Champhai district. Acting on a tip-off, personnel conducted a raid in Zokhawthar village near the India-Myanmar border, seizing 20.6 kg of the tablets. Methamphetamine tablets worth Rs 61.9 crore have been seized in Mizoram's Champhai district, according to a statement by the Assam Rifles.

Following a tip-off, Assam Rifles personnel raided Zokhawthar village near the India-Myanmar border, seizing 20.6 kg of Methamphetamine tablets on Sunday.

The seized tablets were subsequently handed over to the state police for further legal proceedings, the statement added.
