Urgent Appeal to Modi: Bring Back Netaji's Mortal Remains

On Sunday, Chandra Kumar Bose, the grandnephew of legendary freedom fighter Subhas Chandra Bose, issued a fervent appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to repatriate the 'mortal remains of Netaji' from Japan's Renkoji temple by August 18.

Bose stressed the need for a definitive statement from the central government to dispel ongoing 'false narratives' about Netaji's death.

Bose noted that the NDA-led government had declassified files related to Netaji, establishing that he perished in an air crash on August 18, 1945.
