14 Convicted in 2010 Murder of INTUC Leader
A CBI court has convicted 14 individuals, including a CPI(M) district-level member, for the 2010 murder of INTUC leader Ramabhadran. The court found them guilty of criminal conspiracy and murder. Four others were acquitted, and two were released on bail for harboring an offender.

A CBI court in Kerala has convicted 14 individuals, including a district-level member of the CPI(M), in connection with the 2010 murder of INTUC leader Ramabhadran inside his home in Anchal, Kollam district.
The judgment on July 25 by CBI Special Court judge Rajeev K S found Gireesh, Afsal, Najumal, Shibu, Vimal, Sudheesh, Shan, Ratheesh, Biju, Renjith, Sali, and Muneer guilty of criminal conspiracy and murder charges under the Indian Penal Code. These individuals had their bail bonds canceled and were sent to jail pending the sentencing hearing scheduled for July 30.
Suman P S and CPI(M)'s Kollam district committee member Babu Panicker were convicted for harboring an offender under section 212 of IPC but were released on bail pending sentencing. Four individuals—Riyas, Markson Yesudas, Jayamohan, and Roykutty—were acquitted.
