JMM-led Coalition in Jharkhand Gears Up for Assembly's Monsoon Session

Members of the JMM-led ruling alliance in Jharkhand convened a meeting on Thursday to strategize for the monsoon session of the state assembly, scheduled to begin on July 26. Representatives from JMM, Congress, and RJD conveyed their confidence to tackle opposition questions effectively, one alliance leader stated.

Jharkhand minister Banna Gupta extended an invitation to the opposition to utilize the session for the people's benefit. 'The time of the House is very important. The opposition should not misuse it,' Gupta stated.

JMM legislator and minister Hafizul Hasan emphasized the unity among ruling alliance members in addressing opposition questions, hoping for cooperation to ensure the House's smooth function. The opposition intends to prioritize several issues, including corruption, law and order, and alleged Bangladeshi infiltration. Opposition leader Amar Bauri stressed the need for the government to address unfulfilled promises, particularly regarding jobs and unemployment allowances.
