School Ruckus in Bhopal: ABVP Workers Allegedly Demand Money, Director Manhandled

The director of a private school in Bhopal, Abhinav Bhatnagar, alleged that ABVP workers demanded money for enrolling students and, upon refusal, manhandled him. The local ABVP unit denied these claims. A police case has been registered, and a probe is underway, but no arrests have been made yet.

On Thursday, a disturbing incident unfolded in a Bhopal-based private school where the director, Abhinav Bhatnagar, claimed that Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) workers demanded money for student enrollment. When he refused, chaos erupted, and he was allegedly manhandled.

The Madhya Pradesh ABVP unit has staunchly denied these accusations. Despite the denial, the police have registered a case against some individuals, based on Bhatnagar's complaint, and have initiated a probe into the incident.

The altercation occurred in the afternoon as a group entered the school, ransacked the premises, confined the school's chairman, and allegedly assaulted Bhatnagar. He was promptly taken to a hospital. A viral video of the incident has sparked widespread attention. So far, no arrests have been made.
