The Delhi Police on Tuesday submitted a comprehensive 500-page charge sheet against Bibhav Kumar, an aide to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, in connection with an alleged assault case involving AAP MP Swati Maliwal.

The charge sheet, filed before Metropolitan Magistrate Gaurav Goyal, led to the extension of Kumar's judicial custody until July 30. Kumar is accused of assaulting Rajya Sabha MP Maliwal on May 13 at the chief minister's official residence.

The prosecution highlighted that the document contains statements from around 50 witnesses and various digital records as evidence. The case is being prosecuted under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code, including those relating to criminal intimidation and attempt to commit culpable homicide.
