CJI D Y Chandrachud Pays Visit to Ayodhya's Sacred Temples
Chief Justice of India (CJI) D Y Chandrachud visited Ayodhya where he prayed at the Ram temple and the Hanumangarhi temple. He was received by District Magistrate Nitish Kumar and spent nearly two-and-a-half hours in the city before departing for Lucknow.

Chief Justice of India (CJI) D Y Chandrachud offered prayers at the Ram temple in Ayodhya on Friday.
The district administration reported that Chandrachud arrived at the Ayodhya airport around 3 pm, where he was greeted by District Magistrate Nitish Kumar.
Following his arrival, CJI Chandrachud visited both the Hanumangarhi temple and the Ram temple, according to Kumar.
In a conversation with PTI, Nitish Kumar noted that Chandrachud spent nearly two-and-a-half hours in Ayodhya. He later departed for Lucknow by helicopter from the Ramkatha Park helipad at 5:30 pm.
