British authorities have detained a 26-year-old man, Kyle Clifford, on suspicion of fatally attacking three women with a crossbow. The victims, Carol Hunt, and her daughters Hannah and Louise, were discovered at their Bushey home.
Hertfordshire Police reported on Friday that the suspect is currently hospitalized in serious condition. The arrest follows a manhunt that concluded on Wednesday in a cemetery near Clifford's residence in Enfield, approximately 15 miles from the crime scene.
The deceased were the wife and daughters of BBC radio's renowned sports commentator, John Hunt, recognized for his commentary on events like the Grand National and The Derby. Emergency responders found Clifford with undisclosed injuries and transported him on a stretcher. No firearms were involved in the incident.
