Teen Girl Molested by Rickshaw Driver in Mumbai; Police Launch Manhunt

A 15-year-old girl was allegedly molested by a rickshaw driver in the Borivali area of Mumbai, Maharashtra, police reported on Sunday. According to officials at the MHB Colony Police Station, the incident occurred while the girl was en route to her school.

The rickshaw driver abruptly halted the vehicle and attempted to touch the girl inappropriately. She immediately protested and screamed, drawing the attention of nearby locals who rushed to the scene. However, the driver managed to flee before they could intervene, according to police sources. Authorities have registered a case against the unidentified rickshaw driver under pertinent sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
