AAP's Sanjay Singh Granted Bail in COVID-19 Norms Violation Case

AAP Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh surrendered before an MP-MLA court on Thursday in connection with a 2021 case involving the violation of COVID-19 norms. He was granted bail.
According to his advocate Madan Pratap Singh, Sanjay Singh complied with the bailable warrant issued by the court, and the hearing took place before Special Magistrate Shubham Verma.
An FIR was lodged at the Bandhu Kala police station alleging that Singh held an unauthorized election meeting at Hasanpur village. An investigation led to a chargesheet against Singh and others in attendance. The next hearing is set for July 15.
