In a significant development, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, held a meeting with France's Minister of the Economy, Finance, and Industry, Eric Lombard, in Paris. The discussions were centered around enhancing cooperative ventures between the two nations, with a special focus on economic, investment, trade, and industrial sectors.

Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the UAE's dedication to further strengthening its strategic ties with France. He underscored the importance of capitalizing on available opportunities to expand and refine these bilateral frameworks, aiming for the shared prosperity of both countries. Furthermore, he expressed his heartfelt wishes for France's continued success and advancement.

In attendance were several prominent UAE officials, including Reem Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Noura Bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State; Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs; Fahad Saeed Al Raqbani, UAE Ambassador to France; and Omar Saif Ghobash, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and UAE Non-Resident Ambassador to the Vatican.
