Pakistan's investigative agency submitted a supplementary charge sheet on Monday in the Toshakhana case targeting former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, ARY News reported. The charge sheet, presented to Special Judge Central, includes a list of 24 witnesses.

According to the charge sheet, evidence indicates that Khan and his wife engaged in corruption to gain financial benefits. The former premier is accused of acquiring a Bulgarian necklace at a reduced rate by exploiting his position, ARY News reported. Additionally, the couple is accused of unauthorized sales of valuable items like designer watches and gold and diamond jewelry.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) charged Khan and Bushra Bibi with selling gifts without proving ownership or proper registration in Toshakhana. They were taken into custody by a NAB team led by Deputy Director Mohsin Haroon from Adiala Jail on July 13, hours after their acquittal in the Iddat case. Imran Khan, 71, who led Pakistan from 2018 to 2022, has been incarcerated since August 2023 on multiple charges.
