US Ambassador Highlights Robust US-India Friendship in Border Crisis Address

During a visit to Mumbai's Ganesh Chaturthi Pandal, US Ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti, highlighted the close friendship between the US and India, particularly in addressing border issues. Garcetti assured, 'We're always here when you call.'

Garcetti, speaking to ANI, remarked on the shared challenges faced by both nations. 'We know sometimes we face the same enemies, whether they are non-state actors or state actors. We are stronger together,' he stated, emphasizing progress in US-India relations and signaling readiness to support India's efforts in tackling its own border issues.

Emphasizing India's autonomy, Garcetti said, 'India's challenges are for Indians and their government to solve. We don't intend to impose solutions but are here to listen and learn.' He highlighted the cooperation in defense technology and mutual support through initiatives like the Quad.
