PM Modi Announces Thiruvalluvar Cultural Centre in Singapore
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the establishment of a Thiruvalluvar Cultural Centre in Singapore aimed at promoting and maintaining Tamil language, civilization, and culture. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman expressed gratitude towards the initiative, which was highlighted during a bilateral meeting with Singapore PM Lawrence Wong.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the establishment of India's first Thiruvalluvar Cultural Centre in Singapore. The new center aims to promote and preserve the Tamil language, civilization, and culture, drawing from the teachings of the ancient saint Thiruvalluvar.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman thanked PM Modi for this significant initiative. 'Thanks to PM Modi for announcing the establishment of a Thiruvalluvar Cultural Centre in Singapore to promote and maintain the Tamil language, civilization, and culture,' she said in a post on X.
During his visit to Singapore, Prime Minister Modi met with Singapore PM Lawrence Wong, where they also discussed strengthening bilateral relations. Both leaders agreed to further cooperation in digital technology, semiconductors, skill development, and healthcare, and exchanged four Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) in these sectors.
